As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
— Psalm 103:13
The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.
— Psalm 116:5
At Compass we believe in the Church helping one another as the Lord commanded (Colossians 3:12), and clothing ourselves in Compassion and love for others. There are several ministries at Compass that provide resources for anyone in our community, even if you are not part of the Compass family, we would be honored to serve you.
Monthly Food Pantry
Our food pantry exists to assist our church family, and our local community, with much needed food, guidance on additional needs, and prayer. We currently strive to provide this assistance on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10AM-12PM.
On-Going Donations We Accept
We operate as a non-profit organization that appreciates any and all donations. The list above are items that are continuously helpful to our organization and helpful to all of those we serve.
Donations need to be labeled clearly in a box or bag and left in the donations area in The Commons. Please plan to drop off food donations before or after services on Sunday. If you need to drop food off during the week, please email us to let us know and we can make accommodations to get the food inside.
Benevolence Ministry
In the Bible, Jesus says that His disciples “feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the unclothed, care for the sick and visit prisoners (Matthew 25:31-46).
At Compass we believe in helping everyone find and follow Jesus and that includes helping meet physical needs. Resources like food, monetary donations, labor for your home, prayer and much more are just a few of the ways that Compass follows the commands of Jesus to take care of one another.
